Gawain's Queen

There remains a tale in the land of Briton
Of the time Christmas day gone amiss
Where a knight fell into temptation
And betrayed an oath with a forgotten kiss

Now all of Arthur's men wear sashes of green
In honor of forgotten vows to chastity
They search instead for Gawain's new Queen
Only to find her in the tree by the forgotten sea

Now tales of magic aren't unknown
They are whispered for all to behold
Under every tree and sacred stone
Lies proof of the magik told

And still Arthur's men wear sashes of green
In honor of their forgotten vows to chivalry
They search for Gawain's mysterious Queen
Forever finding her in the tree or by the forgotten sea
