A Cauldron Contained

One can hear the echo of the hymn along the shore
Where branch meets water and soil takes root
You'll find the place of ancient lore
And taste at last the forbidden fruit

One can hear the ancient hymn amid the trees
Where solid ground gives way to water's edge
Yet you can hear the whisper on the breeze
As it speaks the ancient oath and pledge

One can hear the ancient hymn and song
Where one will find the cauldron's water full
A drink for knowledge of life grown long
If one but will the ladle pull

And so echoes on the age old hymn
Of knowledge that's lost but forever gained
Captured within a cauldron filled to the brim
That only the Goddess could have contained
